... then shall the lame man leap like a hart...
Mood: lyrical
Topic: Quotations
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
and the ears of the deaf unstoped;
then shall the lame man leap like a hart,
and the tongue of the dumb sing for joy.
For waters shall break forth in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;
the burning sand shall become a pool,
and the thirsty ground springs of water;
the haunt of jackals shall become a swamp,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
Isaiah 35:5-7

This passage means a lot to me, since I have a partially-paralyzed right leg ...

Hi there,
I found your blog through Playing With Fire and have been spending my evening reading through your entries, Interesting.
I am a recovering addict who is now clean thanks to Methadone Maintenance Treatment.

I have also taken the liberty of adding your blog to my section of links under the title of Partners in Crime.

1. I don't see it as a liberty to add my blog to your roll; I'm flattered. I'm keeping a list of everyone who's contacted me... it's to the right (though in 2 sections at present bc I'm disorganized.)
2. I'm glad people like the quote. It came to me at the last moment to pick that one. I had to google it to find where it was...
